I am really wanting an SM650! Does anyone have any info/experience getting plates in mass? I know the mso doesn't have any off hyw label. Is that all that matters?

If the bike is sold as new and your Berg dealer is cool they might be able to submit the sale paperwork to the MA DMV without checking the OHV (Off Highway Vehicle) box and you should receive a license plate. At least that's the way it works in CA.

If the bike is being sold as used I'm not sure how this might work. Don't be afraid to pay a visit to you local DMV and make inquiries.

That sounds pretty easy. I think ill head to the dmv and just ask someone in addition to the dealer. thanks for the advice STG

Just don't spill the wrong beans at the DMV. Speak in hypothetical terms and don't give them your name, etc. This process is best kept under wraps. Stay off the radar or you'll quickly go from blip to bogey.

What does your Berg dealer have to say about this? With new bikes your dealer is the key to getting a plate. Remember mumm's the word. Your dealer probably prefers to stay off the radar also. Have your discussions in person and on the down low.

You want to PM Husabergler. I know he lives in MA, and owns a berg. He may know the procedure...
