Looking to purchase an 07 Berg Fe650, low km with Akrapovic system.
Can you guys give me the good, bad and ugly on these wicked weapons?
Dont hold back, i want to know all there little quirkes, faults and similaraties with pre and post era 650s

Its an awesome and very reliable beast! - provided it is regularly and properly maintained.
Reliability is much improved and isn't an issue for later models.
Check out the Owners Doc - it has heaps of valuable info you need.

Still trying to gt aquainted with this site and missed "Owners Doc", sorry,thats one handy place to visit.

Steve, thats a very nice machine you have there, just wondering where you got the sub mount dampner (im presuming the US, if so from whom, cause ive been looking on US ebay and can get one for $220 but still need a scotts mounting kit, which one do you use?) The whipps bash plate and high rise seat im also guessing you got from Suttos, correct me if im wrong as i too want to add these goodies.

The Scotts stuff I got from BRP - http://www.brpmoto.com/ I've also got stuff from Scotts in the US as well. BRP do the sub mount.
The seat and much other stuff was packaged with the bike from Suttos.
The Whipps plate is direct from Whipps, http://www.whipps.com.au/ and I welded on the extra bit to protect the water pump.

I plan on getting some Fastway pegs as they are lower and more rearset than the modded genuine adjustable ones I currently have fitted.

Just gotta get the knee fixed so i can ride it again!!!
