Heya...
I bought a 92 mod CBR 600 starter...
The starter is much larger then the original.
Inserting it into the hole went ok, but because it is so large (!) it hits the little bump on the engine, that is located right under the starter, near were the starter is inserted.
Therefore I am not sure about the angle of the starter. It seems to me, to be a little bit "high". This will most likely cause stress on some bearings in the engine (According to a husaberg dealer here in norway. Morstad Motor.)
even so, the starter seems to spin the engine ok..
Have you had any problems with worn bearings etc?
Another problem is that the starter is so much longer, making a bracket for it will be diffecult.
how did you make the bracket? pictures?
the husa 650 starter is just a little bit longer then the original 501, but the cbr starter engise is aprox 4-5 cm longer.
Does anyone have the Heya...
