'03 FE400 Exhaust...

I just bought an '03 FE400... I was wondering why the exhaust does not have the "USFS Approved" stamp on it like the '04 and newer bikes? Also, what have you guys done when questioned by a USFS person???

i dont think you need to worry.i have never been questioned.they just look at the muffler and act like it is a ktm which they have seen so many of that they dont even take a close look.dan.

The muffler should have had a sticker (rather than a stamp) that is under the number panel. It may have come off, mine was coming loose when I had it.

Hmmm, no decal... Is there a way to get a replacement if necessary?
