Hi Guy's. I have the chance to pick up an 03/04 FE550 and was wondering if they are any good. This motor is in pieces and had about 10 hrs on it from a rebuild when the crank **** it self!! Is it worth rebulding or fitting somthing else? I can pick it up cheap, so just wondering??
 
Is it SEM Dellorto or Kokusan Keihin? 03 build 04 model would be the latter and worth fixing properly at the right price. Some 550s had crank issues, lots of discussion here over the years, but seemingly readily fixable.
