Hi

Got a little problem on my bike.
When i brake (with any brake) the "brake light part" of the bulb in the rear light just lights up very wea, not possible to see thrue the glass at all.

when i switch the two wiers with each other, the breakelight gets very bright when i brake, but it steals all the power from the bike, and the front lights loses almost all its lights!

Does anyone have a clue for an easy solution to this brakelight problem..

light light light light and light....

help!

Have you checked the contacts to make sure they are clean? Might have a bad ground as well. Hope this helps.

Obviously you tried with a new bulb, right?

Hi,

If you are running a battery check that, if it´s ok check that you are getting 12.5v to the brake switches things like indicaters and brake lights usually work from the battery.

Definately a bad earth connection. You need to do a continuity check with all loads dissconnected.
If your not sure about that...
Make a temp connection from your battery negative to your common negative of your 12/21w bulb.
If ok , replace the wires concerned.
