Okay guys i've been of the bike for some time because i was having problems with the bike.
It was hard to start, hard to restart, noisy top end and finaly i lost spark :D. I got the Husaberg problem package with the bike :D

Well after a 2-3 weeks i finaly got my top end assembled with new cam chain, fixed chain guide, new cam folower roller bearings, cleaned pluged up oil chanels. I also put new clutch plates in there. Fresh oil and filters. And today i'm waiting my friend who got me new electrex ignition so when i put it i hope i finaly get the engine runing and starting as it should.

I really hope that it starts up and restarts on e-start!

But what do you think guys? Will it start up and restart or i will be having more problems ? :)

Perhaps.

Hello
You bought a problem to you bike, the Electrex stator ;-) aren`t they known to blow the CDI? and the CDI is not cheap.......

I think i read it in this forum but don?t remember where.
Good luck!

I read the forum and i didn't find anything about electrx stators except some thread where someone who works for them tried to advertise in a wrong way...

So... i assembled the bike and it started first kick!!! 8O
Ignition gives spark at incredibly low RPM and it starts real easy! Also it restarts on e-start but it doesen't start from cold on e-start.
I'm very happy with the Electrex product so far and i hope that it will work nice in the future!

Bike is greaaat! I was so excited that i finaly got it started that i had to put my gear on and go for a night ride 8)
It was cold but great!

And also i think that lights are much stronger with this new ignition.

Your not supposed to e-start the bike cold. It's a restarter

i think that you have the dellorto carb. correct?
if so, read on.
i had an atk with a dellorto carb.
instead of the choke like the husaberg, it had a knob that allowed full choke, 1/2 choke, or anything in between.
if the choke was on all the way, it would never start.
it had to be 1/2 way closed, then it would fire up instantly.
i think the problem with bergs is the fact that the choke is either off or on all the way.
thats why your read where people say to crank with the choke on for 3 revolutions, then shut the choke off and then retry to start it.
i know on my 02 650, the choke is a sensitive thing.
i have loosened the cable, put in a smaller jet, and its still not great.
what i do is pull out the choke partially, not completely, and i'm able to hold it steady while hitting the estart button. it works ok, but far from correct.
i think if you were to add one of the choke cable systems like atk had, you would be able to start it cold alot easier.

tuts

you can use the deco0mp cable and convert that. just simply use the decomp cable over to the choke. a little fettling and taking the shortest route and like you say - partially on.

Hi
You shoulnt have any problems with the electrex stator i have fitted three of these to customers bikes and they have been all ok ,the first was apprx 2 years ago to a 550. the latest 12 months and it was a fe400. only problem was to trim down all the extra wiring on the fe 400.to many bad connector.
