That's right. They only come in yellow

well of course don't forget that honda CRF louvres fit straight in according to tuts and someone else (via the doc)? so it's time someone searched the CRF pages and there is NO WAY that there aren't some black CRF louvres out there somewhere?!?!

Why don't you paint them. The way to do it would not to put thick shiney black paint on though because it would probably flake easy and you would see the yellow underneath. So a way that might work (because plastic is not easy to paint because of the oils in contains) would be to sand thoroughly with say 220 or150 dry sandpaper, then lightly prime with special plastic primer. Then let dry and sand with 320 drysand and use spraycan flat, semi gloss or gloss black to cover the primer. It's thin and would probably be durable to stay on there. All this is very easy and could be done in a few hours with a nice blacked out louvre look.Where it might be time consuming to sand the cracks, use a little red scotch brite to promote your spray can adhesion.

or you could dye them with fabric dye and a big pot. Done it before for some YZ parts and radio control stuff. Warning, dont do it inside with the misus's favorite pot- you have been warned :)

Radiator louvers

Taff - My '98 fc had black ones on it when it landed in my front yard. Came from the factory that way. I still have them, somewhat scuffed and dusty.
