Any Oz members received their new 09's yet?

Well I got back to NZ, phoned my dealer and all he had to say was that he thinks the 09's will be here in December, and didnt know the price.
So today I phoned KTM NZ, and asked to speak to the Husaberg product manager, and asked him what the story is. He tells me that we are not getting any bikes until mid January

here in Perth my dealer is still saying 2nd / 3rd week in Dec for my 570.

I think you need more bling like Blue triple clamps etc. And a few more cubes 570 . And where's the carbon fibre end cap on the apro???

That'd be awesome.. means I will have it in time for riding over the xmas holidays!.. so whereabouts are you heading to?... and I hope you'll be riding while you are here?

When my bike arrives (with more Cubies) i won't have to ride it on the throttle stop, as i did on the 450.

All the hype is justified, the handling on single track feels like a smaller bike. The power is smooth and predictable, almost electric.

Standard gearing 13/52, seems low but with the 6 speed gearbox, look out open stuff.

Suspension only needs the springs changed to suit rider (or I could loose a few kgs). This is typical of all bikes.

I will raise the bars 20mm (under bar damper) and fit a high seat, this a personal choice.

There is nothing to catch your boots/braces/nylons with the bike moving underneath.

The bike is everything I hoped it would be and more. Converting the subframe to a fuel tank (holds 4lts) has opened up the possiblities.

1 very happy little vegemite.

Just remember this !!!YOUR A LONG TIME DEAD and yes i can buy a new car for the same price, but you carn't flog the s_%t out of it , drive it down single lane tracks then wash it and put it in the garage awaiting it's next flogging. Only 2.5 weeks to go till i pick up me big banger and take it for a slow ride then cain it. Your report on ya 450 sounds like my kind of bike. There is no negatives when you can have so much fun out there.

Andrew and Ritchie are two of the best people in the motorcylce industry and having them at the same dealership made my next purchase 07 550 a no brainer.

And I will be back for a 570 after I've ridden the demo.

( Hopefully after all this pissing in their pockets I'll get a discount :lol: )

Spending time on both Islands,jan2-feb11.Plan on getting to the NZ superbike race (Raupuna )Christchurch Jan 24/25 and maybe the week before at Timaru.A vintage weekend at Pukekohe also possible.Basically a holiday for the misses and I.Hopefilly I can rent a dirt bike for a day.

yeah I heard the 18th today, lets hope so, Santa has a huge cheque burning a hole in his pocket that might get spent on post Christmas sales at David Jones otherwise
