From a recent trip out to western Kangaroo Island, took the berg out marroning (marron are like yabbies or craw, they were introduced from Western Australia, and now are prolific in the rivers and creeks, they fetch about $A35 per kilo, and are farmed extensively), and what could be more fun than going on a 'berg? did need a better method of tying the nets to the bike, they got a bit out of controll racing across an open whooped out sand track, ha ha, cant occy strap nets onto the back of a bike with an airbox, another moot point that bergs are better!

Result - delicious, marron tails, pan fried in butter, garlic, chilli, parsley, lime juice and verjuice(wine-like vinigar stuff) and a hint of black pepper.

a cook book is now on my list of things to do before I die.

Your a scream Azza,

next thing you'll have engineered a trailer for the bloody berg. Dont forget to patent it before you release pics  I see your putting that stubbie cooler I gave you to good use. Did you eva get those photo's of you reading the paper overlooking the gorge at Wallerawang into your local paper. Keep up the good work my friend.

Um, yeah, I had an attack of the guilts when i found the stubby cooler in my bag after i got home from 'Wang, wasnt sure if id borrowed it cos u felt sorry for me having cold hands in the icy NSW highlands or if it was a genuine give.

I'll repay you somehow someday!

oh, and a trailer might be going a bit far.

I gave you the stubbie cooler for letting me change both your tyres  Seriously though, I didn't think you were that pissed the whole time. You didn't steal it, it was a straight swap for the mini dv tape you gave me.

Err...ummm... yeah, I wasnt all that pissed, it was errr, gastro, yeah, gastro that kicked in on the first hillclimb on saturday, y'know, where I couldnt kick start the bike and when I got to the top was like on the cusp of expiring!

anyway, thats cool, I feel better bout the stubby cooler now, I was happy to give you the tape. no probs.

an if I remember right you changed 3 tyres over the weekend... i tell you I had a farken hard luck weekend right there, i am looking for an excuse to go back though, almost called Lithgow Shire to see if they needed a town planner.

Start saving your brindy bud & get to work on the missus....it'll be on again this year. I've been toying with the idea of bringing it up before chrissy but probably too much else to think about at this time of year.

The Australian 4 day is on in ORANGE the same month we had had it this year so I'm going to book an extra weeks holiday & spend the week after the ride re-cooperating watching the 4 day drinking beer. If you're reading this MEDOGROCKET we'll be your support crew for the event. I'll drink your share of the beer...thats about the level of support I'm able to provide...joking.
