Day 3, 100 miles approx.
Cheeseberger wanted me to check out some of the riding near Gunnison so off we went! The Gunnison area seemed to be more on the desert side of riding than we had experienced the prior two days. You would not believe the blast we had ripping it up side by side on this remote two track! The Bergs were roaring!
We headed to a recreation park south of Gunnison called Hartman Rocks (I think). Fun riding with some technical, rocky sections and even some single track!
On the way back to Cheese's we hit some really cool single track. Colby refered to this as the Julie Andrews trail.
Cheese shows his water crossing finesse at the bottom of Deadman's Gulch. A group of three mountain bikers were impressed. I wasn't!
Day 4, approx 50 miles
Here's a decent view of the town of Crested Butte and the mountains beyond.

Colorado is truly spectacular! I really enjoyed my visit and really appreciate cheeseberger making my stay memorable, comfortable and FUN!!!!!!!!
