hello tolis

is that into the cover and then becomes 'splash' or is it feeding into the rocker arms?

it would be interesting to know if lineaweaver needed to feed directly to the head and if so, where?

as well as what you have done i would also recommend feed into the end of the two rocker shafts that you can see.

i love to see all that stuff!

what application is this for? an early takis drag racer?????

regards

Taffy

Well, getting almost no blow by and hardly any oil mist using the 5W-50 PAO oils what can you do?

oil feed to head

Hi All, would that not lower the oil pressure to the big end and mains?
I was thinking of tapping into the crankcase via the TDC M8 crank immobiliser hole and using the vaccuum to operate a briggs n stratton vaccuum fuel pump to pump oil to the head via a tap off from the oil screen cover.
(Off a Vanguard 16HP V twin)
Therefore you do not get any oil pressure drop and you still get "better than" drip lube to wherever you want?
Worst case also if the diaphragm fails you would get a small amount of oil drawn through and into the crankcase (where it would be dealt with by the one way valve?)
Or would if in case of diaphragm failure cause air to be drawn into the oil pump causing pressure loss and cavitation via the crankcase (I guess a small one way valve would fix that?)
I have tried manually operating the vaccuum pump to pump 15/50 Mobil 4T and it seems to do this no problem.
What do you guys think?
