I have a friend locally looking to get rid of a 90s FE501.Believe it be a '95/6/7?? but I'm posting a couple of pics in the hope that someone here can shed a better light on that.
It runs out well but I don't know much about any internal upgrades etc. With that in mind what do you think is a fair value?

hi mine is the same as that one , mine is a 95 model, it looks like a 95ish frame too, yours is a 6 speed judging by the size of the reat sprocket, they are a good bike , modern wr's and drz's dont keep with mine on or off road, gave 1000 pounds for mine and it is fully roadworthy....ian

looking at that doc you posted , the tenth digit on my log book is 5 which would make mine a 2005 model? wish it was.

The blue tank is off a 97-99. The rest of the bike looks like a 94-96.

Thanks for the info guys.Best I can come up with is that it's a '95 year model.
Original paperwork is lost and the numbers are kind of hard to read on the frame but sounds about right from the info you guys gave and what my buddy remembers.
With that in mind and it needing the shock redone I'm thinking about a $1000 is what I'm willing to invest in it.How's that sound to y'all?
Not that I need it but it'd be nice to add a Berg that retains a lot of the original Husaberg roots both the good and bad qualities.

i love my 95 501 even though it has its bad points, but then all bikes have bad points, but they are worth while

ian.

The graphics on this bike are H-Line which, if you are not familiar with, were what Husaberg used to call their accessory parts before adopting the Force parts name.

Thanks guys for the feedback and info and yes I remember the ole H-Line.
I've went ahead and made the purchase for $1000.I'll be picking it up in the next week or so and then I guess it'll give me a good spring project to tinker with and tidy and straighten up.
