I think specs would be in owners manuals - you can get them from here in download section I think or from husaberg sweden site - might be www.husaberg.se - I just tried it and it didnt load hmmm ?

Well found an article listed on this site of a test of what I believe is an '04 FC450 & it lists the following measurements
seat height - 930mm(36.6")
weight - 105kg(231.50lbs)
seat height seems like a little low based on Husabergs claimed spec no?

well I guess I'll find out about the validity of that seat height figure first hand when I pick up the Berg tomorrow

Wow! A man of action! This sounds like the beginning of a good thing. Congratulations!

Before you get her dirty you might want to snap a few pics and place them in your gallery. I am sure it will come in handy to someone in the future to have some up close pics of the last (for now anyway) FC.

Will do in the next couple of days.I'm curious how many '05 FC450s do you think are in the US?I'm guessing it's not a very large number.

Welcom to the family ! You'll enjoy your new toy . I have an 06 fe450 thats still putting a smile on my face and other's who see it up close !!

The FC is a good buy, it will outlast a Japanese bike by 2 - 3 times. Performance wise it is a smoother power than others though you will go faster with it and not get tired as fast. CHUK has one and another buddy as well, both love the bike.

with respect to you ..

please give detailed information on how they last 2-3 times longer than the jap bikes .

Motor Life

My 2001 470 had about 100 motos,4 or 5 desert races=100miles each, and a bunch of GPs with pavment before it stopped.

The reason was clearly my falt shifting on an uphill wile pinned and no clutch.
I missed fourth gear three times that day and it stopped.

I said all of that because my two friends had new 2002 426s or 450s whatever size it was,and we did all the same races and rides and the Berg out lasted each of them.

My friend purchased the 470 after the gears and rings got changed and did 8 100 mile desert races and a bunch of rides. It ran two more years on rings and gears and barrings.

This may not be normal but Bergs can run a long long time!

here's a couple of pics of the '05 FC450 I picked up last week.looking forward to get it out for a spin this weekend weather permitting.
