Gave my FE450 a wash and brush up after a ride, then it would not start. Hmmm, could be water in the electrics. Pulled the plug, still got a nice fat spark.
OK - water in the carb. Drain carb and try again. Nothing????? :? :? :?
Right!!! Carb off and a strip down incase there is still a drop of water in there or even ice*.
Well it was cold.
Still no luck.
So off to bed and worried for my bike.
2am I wake up with a start and realise what is wrong.
When I wash my bike I take the seat and tank off and I also remove the CDI box ( I get a bit wild with the power washer).
There it was sat on the bench in the garage laughing at me.
I even put it back on and fired the bike up in the middle of the night.
