Either will work as the Husaberg and KTM upper triple clamps are the same.

IMHO the Scott's damper is superior for a few adjustable reasons. With the Scott's you can adjust the degree of dampened sweep (90, 54,44, or 34 degree's from center) ; two seperate damping circuits High and Low speed, and the little talked about fact that the Scott's dirt bike damper only dampens from the center point out. So that when returning the steering from full left or right to center there is no damping.

However, the street bike damper, which looks the same as the dirt bike dampe,r dampens both ways, center out and back to center. So it's more of a personal preference type of thing.

I have had a Scott's damper since 1999 and have absolutely no problems with it what so ever.

Give the folks at Scott's a call 818-248-bike, I'm sure they can set you up with what you want.

I haven't tried anything else, but love the Scott's...well worth the $$$$

Ditto on what Dale E O sez, mine was not damping and my dealer sent it back. Scott's returned it with new fluid and a full inspection at no charge. Two years later still works great.

used both scotts and gpr and prefer the scotts for the reason Dale mentioned.

Ditto to what Dale and Bob stated. I have been running the SCOTTS for over three years now and it has worked flawless. Make small adjustments while riding until you begin to not like the dampening effects and then back off and your set.

The best stabiliser by far for the 04 FS650 is to set up the suspension properly (particularly the rear) and put in a 5" rear rim. Once those have been done properly you can spend your savings on beer instead ;-)

Cheers,
Simon

More beer money is good! I tweaked my suspension and technique until it no longer wiggles at any speed. However, all my riding is done on pavement...
