Hey all!
I just joined not too long ago and I asked about what you all thought about the 1998 fe600e. Well I got the bike back from getting a check up and the fluids changed (it has been sitting for 4years!) and man I like the bike! I put the street gear on; plate, new turn indicators, and a Trail Tech set-up…my Berg is ready for duty now!

NOW for the good part! I told you that my friends over at Dark Identaty were making a graphics kit for the Berg and I just got it on today. Man-O-man does it look sweet now…it looks like new! I know Lefrog was looking for kits and I know others are as well. I can tell you that they did a killer job and if you have an older Berg they have the template now. They told me they will do a basic “full kitâ€Â

BTW; I just looked at them on the site and I think my flash washed the color a little, they are much ritcher looking in person.

dude you gotta tell me how to get a set and will they change the colors around a bit

What...you don't like my layout? Dam I like it! He-he j/k! Sure they will change it around--my bike had this seat cover on it, so I had to work around it, but I like how it came out.

I still think your bike looks tight as hell I just do not have that same color seat cover thats all and I may be changing is any way if I get the one Dan at motoxotica has.
 
That looks great! The colors are very nice.
I have a '98 and will contact D-I too.
The last set of graphics that I got (from someone else) bubbled on the tank.. I tried automotive clear under them and everything I could think of to no avail. I don't mind spending the bucks but hate to change them due to gasoline permeating the plastic tank.

where did you get the skid plate?Looking for one for my 98 fe 600.Graphics are awsome,mine are factory and still mint,maybe a little more riding time will change that!Hope to hear from ya! Werner
 
DEZDUSTER, thanks for the props.I will be out in Vegas end of March --maybe i can bring my bike and you can show me a good time ;) The stickers on the tank do bubble and i'm told they will because the older tanks "breath" unlike the newer ones. D-I said they would design slits into the sticker to help keep the bubbles down and I'll let you know how that works. As it is now...it's not too bad; I just simlpy sliding my hand down the sticker and they're gone for a few days. AND you got to me; I will see if I can work the Force ride into my plans :) It will be hard....Force ride, Las Vegas the next weekend, and Hawiia the next weekend after that...Oh Man!!!!

SCHULTZY, The skid plate came with the bike, I think it was from Baja Designs (?), I'll ask my buddy where he got it from. I guess I was lucky--after looking for Berg parts, I find it's not easy to do...lol!

BERGDUDE, Yeah the lights are cool, I think it was Motoboss or Trail Tech. I just saw a flat LED version of these (I want them!) at Cycle Gear (818-676-0003). They only cost me $9.00! Check them out at Cycle Gear at Vanowen and Topanga. While your there, call me and we go ride...4 blocks away!

Thanks Mate! The van is sweet, she's my baby. It's a 1998 Ford E-350 4WD clubwagon. I bought it at a Navy auction for $900 and totally rebuilt it. Best investment ever. It was a transport for Navy reserch at the bottom of the planet in Anartica....great story behind it.

Well it's the color used when it was a artic dewler and I liked the look. Besides I painted it before a Husaberg was even a thought in my mind...way before!
Tell you what; if you guys want to spring for the paint, I'll do it, and I'll even have graphics put on to match. Think of it as the official mascot for Huasaberg.org!!!
