Some changes to the current UHE giveaway

Hi there guys,

I found some more stuff while rooting through storage today that I'll be adding to the giveaway. Check the News article tonight to see the changes. They're actually pretty cool items. You can find the details here.

Also, if the raffle can't at least pay for itself, I will have to modify or suspend it. I don't mind footing the server bill for the month and paying the shipping, but due to things happening, I can't afford to sport the GC's as well.

I just wanted to let everyone know that if the raffle gets changed in any way, I'll contact all of the donators for this month to allow them a refund on their donations.

Hey there guys,

Well, I found one item to add, and you'll recognize it from another post on the forum.... you know, the one where a few people said they wouldn't put it on their bikes? Yep, that one

It's a DNA air filter complete with sealing grease, compliments of BERGOROADRACER.

I've also received the covers from BendBerg and must say they're most doozylicious. I've attached a pic of that as well.

I'll be adding the filter to the grand prize, all three slots already have the covers, and I'll be removing the GC's from all bundles. We'll try it again sometime in the future.

As for the other doozy stuff I found, one was a helmet which is too cheap for me to feel ok with giving away. I'd feel bad if someone squashed their grape while using it.

I'll update the article to reflect the changes, and I'll be contacting the donators.

Hi there guys,

Last update(I think), and a little plea for some participation.

BikeBarn has offered up some gear for all three slots(backpacks all around this time & BB t-shirts). They offered more, but I wanted to wait on that, as I didn't want to short them since we're most of the way through the raffle. We'll do another eventually.

That being said, please consider entering. Don't confuse this with donating. We hit our goal this month, so we're dandy in that area, but for warm fuzzy's sake, I'd like to see a little more participation if you guys can find it in your heart to take some free stuff. If you want a second entry, then donating as little as PayPal will allow will get you another chance at the goods. Just for statistic's purposes, I'll let you know that we had more entries in raffles when we had just over 200 members and we were giving away clods of dirt.

Lastly, if you are appreciative of any of the contributors' involvement, please let them know. If not through a purchase, than by means of a simple thank-you. Everyone who provided did it of their own volition, and I would like to make sure that they know that it is appreciated to the degree that they might want to do it again. The UHE can't offer them anything that would make it worthwhile. You on the other hand, can make them glad that they helped.

Hope you enjoy the new stuff, and I'll update the news item tonight, time permitting.
