You are making me all teary eyed with your observations of the Canuck influence. The first bike I ever raced was an infamous 1982 CanAm 250 Qualifier...made by Bombardier. It was a Hare Scramble in your back yard....Shubie. 1982 was the last year they were made in Canada before things went to England.
I am still amazed to this day how awesome that bike was. It was ready to race right out of the crate...much like a Berg is today. That rotax engine was wicked fast compared to its siblings at the time.
If anyone knows where one is at...I WANT IT. There would be a reward involved.
