Does anyone know how the spline piece is held onto the starter rotor shaft?
I basically have two starters each of which has issues but if I can replace the good spline from one to the other I can at least make one good starter.
I just don’t know how to remove the spline bit from the shaft - is this press fit from the manufacturer or glued or threaded?
