Hello there. I inherited a 2000 fe501e from a friend a few months back. Just now taking a look. It could use a lot of love. valves, E starter was making a weird noise like it wasn't catching, Wiring is a mess, Broken plastics and the choke seems to be jerry rigged. Now i ask what do you think i should do? Should i attempt to restore this bike? Parts seem to be pretty hard to come by from what i have seen but im not in a rush.

Regards Jack. Btw Hello from canada :)

There's some pictures of the mess. I have everything just looks like a complete yard sale. Oh and maybes it's a 1999? I'm going to have to look at this paper work again My apologize

The best bike from the first generation, it`s a -00 if i have hydraulic clutch.

I do a lot of stuff for that bike. it is a hybrid. it is the last year of the old engine but the first year of the new generation frame.

i do a tail licence plate holder.
