hi polska

i did the conversion because i had all the kokusan ignition components from a dead 550 and a lovely set of 02 650 cases

if i had an sem i would have made it work somehow.

the "wet" idea is just becasue after fitting a 20mm wide bearing to the ignition side of the crank there is no room left for a seal.

yes I just drilled one 6mm diam hole between the ignition cavity and the crank cavity at the lowest point possible

I have an announcement to make. I have new baby that just arrived. Is big baby all of 650 cc on size. Found once in a lifetime opportunity that just couldn't ignore. Brand new never installed 2008 650 motor! My Fs550 will become Fs650. I still have plans to rebuild the other 650 motor into 700 but sometimes later on. What a find, what a gem.
