Termignoni on a Husaberg!! I like it!!! bella!

Thanks a lot ...it's been a mix between a husaberg and Honda there ...lukily it worked

Best of all the exhaust pipe was done by DCR ...it's mint, it follows the bike ( it doesn't get wide at any point ) and the (crf end )leave enaught gap so the 170 rear tyre doesn't pay them a visit

Grazie mille :)

The fact that is road reg I can get the pleasure of both :)

It's been a good ride...I am really happy on how the bike handles, unfortunately it gets wobbly on the handlebar on speed over 75mph with 80 (been no good) I was suggested and agree to soft the front fork but I might also try to lower the front a bit...I am still happy considering that I am nearly flat out on gearing

..I would be planning some track day this year with racing probably the next one

nope ..I actually have a Scott stabiliser in the garage but I am not planning of using it (I was at first) ...the way I see it now, is that under the 75 mph the bike handle perfect and I have the top high end suspension (fork, shock) swing arm, I don't want to add other bits to it especially when it can be figure out by setting the bike better, my goal is a stable 85 as I won't be riding any higher

I know when you come from by using the stabiliser, I used it, it's good stuff but not on this build :)

I wanted the lectron to work..I will give it another try this weekend

Beautiful! My congratulations to you! You’ll get the wobble sorted. Both my bikes are fine up to ~135kph at least, and one of those is a pig of a DR-Z. Have taken a 650 supermoto up to 120kph too, so I’m 100% confident you’ll iron it out in no time.

Paolo, is it an FE or FS?

If it’s an FE, what offset triples are on it? If standard you may have to run less offset triples to get some of your rake back from running 17’s.

If it’s the FS, make sure all your suspension settings are spot on.

thanks turist It will get done. A friend in work told me that he done 105 mph, 168 kph ducking on the motorway :) on the drz (don't know if it's fully true) ...I used to have the dorsoduro 750 and max I could go was just bellow 110mph and then it started wobbling.

Alan I have the FS but the triple I got are 16mm with adjustable angle (more closer at the moment)...yes suspension is where I would be looking to fix the problem, its's probably just the front getting lighter at high speed and causing the issue. what's your max speed on your bike? or what you can reach comfortably.

2007 Fs550 l did just over 160kph. Short stint on country road. Perfectly smooth. 150 on the hwy also smooth. It had more If I wanted but l didn't want to rev 550 too much.

Mine are FE’s. Even down the straight almost wound out they are stable. I don’t know what speed I was doing as I was more concerned about watching where I was going.

I’d start with some basics like set your sag. Run your settings on the forks maxed out. Tyre pressure? Forks position in the triples trying 2.5mm at a time.

Congratulations to good project results!
I had an FS650 back in the day, which I tuned and raced in the Supermono class with. The only time it wobbled on me was at some 170 km/h, through a "chikane", leaning flat down with one arm on my back! Was solved with both hands on the bars! Is everything tightened and without play? Wheel axles, fork clamping the front axle, steering bearings, swing arm pivot axle etc?

thanks both Alan and DR-C ...ahahah good point , I don't actually know my tyre pressure :) it was made up random at the time, I am running a wet tyre on front but I don't think that can be the full issue ( it's the only one I can run with 16.5 and be ''road legal'')

DR-C ...everything seems tight, I don't think it can be any of the fork or triple clamp adapter, (all bearings are new) ...I actually got annoyed by it on my weekend ride, fat guy on Harley manage to pass me on the straight, he was looking back thinking I was getting him but I was wobbling at 80 (thinking inside my helmet ''****...****...****..F*** *******'') , soon after tight corner comes into play and the story change

I double check a bit of everything this weekend (pressure, shock, fork) and see what happen.

Not a Hardly?

Man you gotta get that bike sorted!

150 kph will be my weekend goal :) ...I will also try again the lectron and see what happen

and there was another guy when I was refuelling that was looking at my bike outrageously and said ''are you running front wet?'' (sunny day on 22° )...me''yeah that's the only tyre I can get for the road'' and he just left, didn't say anything more

Foward and backwards...

I check everything(sag, pressure) and soft 4 click on the front fork and about 1.5cm on the top of the jokes and that brings me to a stable 90mph

Also I have done a battery box from alluminium (it's not welded but it will do well for now) before I was using the original husaberg box cut out to make it fit20180610_210316.jpg

Now Problems :)

The chain keeps eating the slider ...I am running 16x42 and I will be going soon 16x45 with new chain and that might help ...if not I will add a pece of alluminium to sort it out (don't care if it's not the best solution but I won't let him eat my swingarm) :)

That's my slider new after 5 hrs, chain was check before, sag was good ...I belive is the swingarm ''fat'' in there witch is really good but it also might cause this issue 20180610_210251.jpg

I was on ebay and I saw an ISR clutch master cylinder for sale ( I was the only bidder, easy purchase ) :) ..20180601_211251.jpg when I got it the piston is 17 something (9.5 I think is the original)basically massive ..it looks good and in shape but it had some dirty oil so I flush it clean it a bit...and it sems OK

took it for a ride and that's the resoult ...
I remembered a friend of mine on his yz 250 saying that he had the men's clutch...well this is one of them :) ...20180610_170408.jpg

Will get sorted with more cleaning

Highest speed i seen on my speedo was 188kmh. Bike was moving around abit but i was on a dirt road at the time.
Dead stable at 175 indicated on the seal.

For the train spotters...... my Berg was an FS but converted to FE from new but the twit left the FS gearing on with an 18 rear wheel.

Yus jus got me thinking about the trpple clamps now tho..... (14years later) i must check if they are FS or FE.
Fairly sure the bloke just swapped forks shock and wheels...... Hmmmmmm.

They been doing the job for 14 years might be ok leaving as they are...you can adapt a ktm triple clamp of you find one for cheap, using a spacer that can be bought in here https://www.lasermaster.co.uk/easy-order and you need new bearing

as I change quite a few stuff at the same time I can't tell you if swapping the triple would make a difference that is worth it (probably it will do) but I remember reading a post about some guys using the ktm smr at 11 offset for theyr supermoto and they were happy

No wobble no

Yes now l know why it didn't wobble. because l have Scotts stabilizer. Iy slipped down and disangaged on weekend and it did wobble. After reinstalling it no wobble again.

I do have a scott too but I am not using it ...at high speed the front was too light...

I was going to use it because I had it on the RMZ and I wasn't planning to get the suspension done straight away..
poor suspension---> stabilizer
Set up suspension-> nothing

And forgot to mention before about problem
The lectron 4 stroke gen2 carb work as garbage on the husaberg...
