Hello folks
I'm looking at a Camso DTS 129 snowbike conversion for a 2014 Husaberg FE501. Camso does not list a model for the Husaberg but they do list models for the KTM. I'm new to Husaberg and wanted to get feedback from someone that understands the differences and similarities between these bikes. I'll try and post a pic of the Camso literature so you can help me.
From my understanding the complete swingarm assembly and rear shock are removed from the bike and the snowbike track reattaches to the swingarm attachment points. Then a control arm attaches to the upper shock mount. From my understanding the subframe plays no roll. The front ski hooks to the front fork axle point.
I'm thinking KTM XCW 500 2012-2015?? But not for sure.
Thanks folks

I agree it should fit. I have a 2011 husa 570 and a 2007 ktm 505 and my kit fits both, everything is the same. It's a custom kit i made tho, not a camso.

Thanks Benz.
Help me here guys. Let's take this in sections.
What's the difference between a
(2014 Husaberg FE500 /2014 KTM 500 XC-W) swingarm and rear shock upper attachment points. Are they exactly the same? I think so but not for sure thus the question.

I'd be incljned to think they arw the same yes! Faiiirly sure evwn.

Maybe check parts fiches to see uf the parts around there are the same part numbers?

Tourist thank you for those web sites you listed. The front axle, spacers, bearings are the same on both (FE 501 & XC-W 500). So the front ski should hook up ok.
The rear swingarm has the same part number also, so the track should have no problem mounting either. Thanks again guys and if & when I put this together I'll be sure to post a few pics.

wow I seem to have been drunk when writing the previous reply - or using a fruit phone - my apologies - Godspeed, and Pics please by all means :)

Finally installed the Camso kit last week and took it for a ride to Breckenridge Co. The 500 handled it very well. Now I just need to become more experienced. Here are some pics.
