Hi all. So I've finally got my 02 FS650 up and running with much help from you guys and DCR and it's an absolute animal. Although riding yesterday it felt like it was bogging and there wasn't as much power delivery.
Checked under the air filter and there was a very small amount of water sitting in the rear boot. I spoke to one of DCR's guys and he said it could be to do with condensation on the oil where it isn't used enough to burn off and it's evaporating through the breather and obviously into the frame and carb.
Now a little while ago I had a major water leak in the oil (where it was basically like paint) so would I be right in thinking that I need to do a good few oil changes while the bike is warm in order to try and get rid of as much as the water as I can to eliminate this problem or is this a common issue with them when they're not used a lot?
Also I've noticed my coolant drop slightly as well and saw that when i removed my valve covers there was a bit of water in there too (not a lot but enough!). Does this basically mean my head gasket is in need of replacing?
