Taffy, you shouldn't advertise bikes as mint when you know they aren't. We all know how much it cost to make them mint, that is how you make a living.
It takes a lot of money and time to change it all and to check it all. In parts and labour, you have to get a bike for almost nothing to sell it for 3000 and make a profit.
We all know that to sell a bike in a budget you have to cut some corners, some times you get away with it ... some times you don't.
When you don't you must try to solve the best way possible.
A bike like this I would sell it in a "good running condition", not as top rebuild engine.
this is the problem IMHO
its called false advertising.
most of the time customers are not mechanically experienced or inquiring enough to notice or to able to check.. but that doesn't make any difference, false claims are still false.
ie cam chain that is "30%lighter and 30% stronger" than standard = BS its 6% heavier. tis a good chain so why the BS ?
i could go on but its not worth my time, false advertising is WRONG in anyone's books.
on this site there have been many husberg vendors besides taffy, none of them have a negative review anywhere because they are honest.
you reap what you sow, ie BS and insults .... oh **** look what happens
