I picked up a 94 FE350 in the spring, and just got around to it today, try to make it run. So after a few kicks no success, found that the float valve was sticking, also need to replace the fuel lines and the fuel pump lines. Other than that just one thing.

It needs a Carburetor Boot Connection PN #150 002-01. Any one have such a part?

Looks just like the one on my 06 FE450 does any one no if the later model boots work?

Thanks,Jeff

there used to be two styles. I've helped out with theolder bikes before but can't recall. if you have a photo of where it should fit, what with my old '98 here and a parts book etc I should be able to help!

I have the 89-90 Spare parts Catalogue, that's were I got the part # from, it came with the bike, along with a spare air filter, and 89-90 owners manual. it's for a 501 and some faxes from Bjorn Elvin Service Instruction, after 1 hours driving, and a Technical Specification Sheet with valve lash.

Taffy I will put together some pictures and get them posted, and in the mean time will dig in a little deeper and see what extra I may need.

Question, I have a 380 kit, will it fit this engine if the need came up?

Thanks,Jeff

No it won't. That is if it is a 380 kit for a 2004-2008 engine. if somehow it is a 1992 '380' kit then your guess is as good as mine!

as far as tuning it goes, I think you're on thin ice. there is no con rod replacement for it right now and any pressure on the bottom end is going to do for it good 'n proper.

so with that in mind - be careful. you might go for larger Ccs but DO NOT go for higher compression. you can go for 'smarter' compression and gain power by getting the squish right but you'd need to scoop the middle out.

if you want a piston, I can work wioth you but away from here.....

OK, no worries not about to change the stock set up, just wasn't sure on the kits? will keep it for future project.

The bike has a ton of squeeze, after two or three kicks when it comes to the top it will go tight, this maybe caused by the auto decompress, and may need adjusting, cable sketchy at best, and may need replacing. Leeks oil not sure of the location yet, maybe the counter shaft seal.

Here are some Pictures I need the Connection from the air intake side to the air box, but will take both sides if you have stock. PM me with what it will take and we will put it together, and bring this Old Berg back to life.

Hey Taffy do me a solid and through in a air filter set in the box, and I will put the order through, please and thank you.

Jeff

I have posted the 89-90 parts manual in the manuals section but the site does not have the 89-90 owners manual. If you could scan it and post it along with the spec sheets that you have that would be awesome. Those original manuals you have are quite rare.

I have 56 pages and it wants me to upload one page at a time, good luck with that, sorry not that handy with the computer and uploading files and the kids have all left home.

If you'd like, you can email or Dropbox the pages to me and I'll convert to PDF! I did some slave labor in the print industry as a young man, maybe we can put my limited skills to use here :) I'll drop you a PM!

Excellent job gents !!!

Those faxes are great. I especially like where it says, " To run Husaberg 350 is to enjoy the life." The Swedes do have a way with words and were obviously very passionate.

If you find a little more time in your busy schedules perhaps you could scan the parts manual too. My scan of the parts manual is a scan of a copy and is not the best quality and not in color.

Give some time, and I will scan the parts one also, if tourist willing to play along?

Spare parts has been scanned, and awaiting my good friend from Iceland to up load it on the site, Thanks to tourist for his technical help.
