How far north

Hello Reddis. Welcome. Just how far N are you? Is that a summer pic on your intro? How does that cat. track and ski kit work? I bet it takes a lot of engine to spin that rear! Do you have to use 10 wt oil to even start the bike? What do you wear when it`s -30 or less?
Down here we get a low of -4! Brrr. Good luck. L

Fahrenheit I assume? :)

I do know that the KTM guys doing winter riding on spiked tires here had to go to 5W-30 on the coldest days or the oil filter would get distorted by the suction/pressure as the oil thickened up. Despite the name, Iceland has a relatively mild climate. I believe this happened in like -5 to -10 Celsius, i.e. not that far below freezing point.

Welcome from Ontario, cold down here, must be very cold up there. -15C with the wind chill -22C. and been snowing for last three days, need your setup for the snow. Would love to try one sometime, in the powder.

Happy Holidays

fedge.

What's up man last time I was out riding it was -19C and that was sometime in November its like -37C now:furious:. My intro wasn't taken up here,we don't get much powder, its all ice mostly. I'm in Nunavut and I run 5w 30w still monitoring to see if its the best. and here's a pic of my spikes for ice racing!:D

Hi Reddis. Ok that counts as cold. Hope you got a sauna or someplace warm to retreat to!
Yes that was -4 C, not F around here. We managed a low of -8 C last night. Cold enough for great skiing, so no complaints this year.
Just spent time in my shop fussing over huge WP shock. That is a nice piece, gotta do the same for the WP forks. WP used to be called *********** Suspension or something. Guess you can`t use that name anymore. Wasn't Brad Lackey the pro who helped develop those? About that era for sure. Cheers, L

Hey reddis!

Wow, Nunavut looks like a pretty remote place! Just had a look on a map. It's cool how we can all be connected despite such huge distances from where we are around the globe. Your bike looks great too mate
