Look at this. This is what offroadboss had. No longer available. His picture on the left. How do you paint it like picture on the right?

Are you saying oil filler cover? If so it's not painted it's anodised and it is bought that way. Look on eBay there is plenty of them.

No no, I mean lettering, blue Husaberg and yellow magnesium.

Testor's model paint. Get it at a Hobby store.

And hand paint it? It would be like 80 year old putting on lipstick I am afraight. This one on the picture looks perfect. If it looked messy lines it would look like ****. My hand not that steady, perhaps couple of shots of good ol polish vodka would cure that.

Couldn't this be done with a soft template that follows the raised letters?

- Coat it with a spray-on tear-off coating. Plasti-Dip?
- Polish the face of the letters down, removing the coating. The coat would need to be tough enough to not get weird and flake I guess.
- Apply paint to letters. Spray or brush.
- Peel off coat.

... right? At least in theory :)

Could also ink the letters, stamp them on a piece of paper, scan them in and lasercut a cardboard template. Just to get random.

You can get blue ones no problem.. the one with Husaberg on them are hard to find for sure

If you want some bling how about inlaying them with gold or Abalone [emoji12]
