Finally!
Valves at one sixth
Carb tweeked
Torque limiter shimmed
Freewheel sprag renewed
Shorai battery fitted
R6 starer motor
Heavy duty live and earth cables

Boom!
The only issues were that with the moto-x rotor the battery won't charge and the choke was impossible to reach with the tank on!

Solution was to fit a remote ckoke cable and lever and keep the battery topped up between races.....or....24v!
It's been really cold here so she won't fire up without the choke and it's sucking the life out of the Shorai, fires up great at 14v-12v but then struggles.
I connected two lithium ion batteries in series, 25v, fitted an Anderson plug to the frame which is wired direct to the starter motor. Fires up without choke every time, once warmed up the onboard battery will easily start the bike. If there is a delay to the start or a red flag I can switch her off and wait, no more boiling over, no need for cooling fans!
No more bump starting!
