Try to remove all those needle bearings from the crank case. They have a tendency of coming loose when there is no kickstart thingies in 'em. And then those small needle bearings can drop down and start jamming the gear selector fork. It does sound like I've been through that too, doesn't it?Never had any use for the kickstart assembly as there's no room between the frame rails so while I've got the motor apart it's time to shed some weight!
