Husaberg 600 fe 1993 stator ?

Hi me again when I got the berg there was a lot of spares one was the old stator unit for some reason he put new electrex world stators on it as said before runs good in fact very crisp would these stators make a diffrence to the bike or just as good as old unit ?

Save that old original stator as you may want to have it rewound someday.

The Electrex replacement stator has been the subject of controversy. Some say it works as good as the original stator. Others say it damages the ignition coil because it does not have a zener diode.

is this true?
The ELECTREX web site states;
This stator has a controlled output which regulates voltage to prevent damage to the original SEM cdi/HT coil.
