no had no problems with brake master cylinder boiling or getting hot also ground clearance not a issue unless you are a mad rock hopper its only half inch lower mostly fast flat country around cobar top speed 5ks faster worth doing

great for non rocky areas and sand ...where i ride with all the rocks i would have that smashed in a day..my bash plate takes a beating
