Back in the day, there was a link from the site that went to an interview that someone did with Thomas, in about 02, when they were still in Rofors. They discussed the beginning for berg, but also, Thomas' involvment and passion of developing the original Husky 510. Anyone know where that site can be found?

thanks in advance

fry

Sir, do you mean the site Louis made with the Husa history page? I copied the site so it wouldn't get lost. You can find his historical page here.

Or were you thinking of something else?

Well, I think I found reference to the article you are thinking of:

UHE mention

The link is no longer valid. I was hoping to get you an archived version of it from the WBM, but motocross.is doesn't allow the archive, so there's no copy that I can find of the article, unfortunately.

Maybe someone will have copied it to their computer and can save the day.

Rats!!! I had found that article with a google search...and have no clue where I had found the link to this article I am looking for. It starts with the writer arriving, explaining the snow falling and catching Thomas in the parking lot. He talks about how he machined the side of a 500 husky engine to facilitate a cam chain to make the first Husky 4T..and so on into the age of bergs.

Hope someone has a copy...love to read it again.

Thanks Jason for the effort. Hope all is well in the NC.

cheers

fry

Partied in the woods today, so all smiles. Getting a bit nippy to be traipsing through the woods, however. I tell you this because I know you don't know much about cold weather.

Ok shwim

sadly I found that article a bit lacking in pictures

LDC??? the 70 degree engine? nope, that came in 04ish I believe. They had a couple other designs in the works by 02, ironically one had to be trashed due to its ending up in the hands of the Cannondale people. THAT in itself is a story.
