FCR slide

Just noticed that one of the slide 'wheels' is different to the rest?:unsure:
The one on the right is different and been told is correct for this carb. I have 3 wheels at 18.7mm and one at 18.3mm, will this make any difference?:unsure:

yeah its an odd setup hey ?

3 points can align to any plane = better sealing (yes its sposed to be like that)

the "o" ring between the 2 slide parts is something to watch

Just changed the o ring, do you know if the slide plate has a wear limit? Or if the coating is wearing through it's time to change?:unsure: cheap aren't they!!!!

If the slide is allowed to rattle about for too long, fatigue cracks will initiate at the bends.

Got this one in time. Out of the ex WR400 FCR on my FE501.

But some polishing is normal.

The Yamaha part here in Oz is <> $200

I get them from the US now, but still not so cheap, more like $50 for KX250F ones. The billet one seem a good deal, might have to get some for my fleet.
