[attachment=0:vhlgs63n]DSCF5689.JPG[/attachment:vhlgs63n]Hello gents. I'm picking up a new to me '10 FE570 this weekend. The owner put old plastic on the new bergs he got, so I've got new plastic for it. Also have some stock graphics that I'll throw on after a while (read, after wrecking a few times). She looks pretty good as is, but was looking to fix up some cosmetics in other areas as well. And yes, when they look good you go faster.
I'm looking for airbox graphics and front fork guard stickers. Also, wanted to see what you guys thought about cleaning up the clutch cover and engine cover. It's got a rekluse on it, but it's showing the usual wear. This isn't a big deal, but I'd like to make it look new again. I've seen guys use a metal brush wheel to take off the paint on clutch covers and it look great. I probably won't do that, but I guess I was looking for ideas from you guys about that. Can't find any protectors for the clutch cover either. Everything else will look pretty much new after the plastic swap. That's the only thing I miss about Japanese bikes....they have SO many options for anything you'd want. Except european engineering.
Here's a few pics as is:
