Ok, so my garage had a little flood- water dripping in the through the ceiling. My bike was underneath it with the seat off- filter on, this was about a month ago. i didnt think to check under the filter for water, tonight i took it off and the water was up to the vent hole... leading me to beleive that water had been dripping into the head. i have not fired the bike since this happened, any suggestions to what to look for and what to do? take the valve cover off? oil change of course... ? advice.

Pull the sparkplug and either crank it till any water blows out, or vacuum out the water if any exists.

Put the plug back, clean/dry/dip in fuel, and if there was any sign of water, run the motor till hot, then change the oil in case any water got past the rings and went into the crankcase.

I saw some water sitting ontop of the throttle plate... if it got down there, what are the consequences?
