Polaris, KTM recall bikes for handlebar issues

My FS570 was was part of this recall but the bar clamps (tops only) had the tell tale dimple on the top which means that they are the updated part. According to my dealer, if you have the dimples on the face of the clamps, you don't have to worry about it. My bike must be new enough that it received the update prior to delivery.

If you own a 2011 Husaberg FS570 or 2011 Husaberg FE 570 S affected by HUSABERG TECHNICAL BULLETIN TB 1105 Factory Direct Modification Campaign - Handlebar Clamp Replacement and have not yet replaced the original clamps, be sure to replace the handlebar clamps NOW! My original handlebar clamps on a bike I purchased October 2010 broke yesterday while I was riding the bike. I was very fortunate and avoided a fall, accident or worse. Do not procrastinate like I did.

The replacement of the clamps is covered 100% by KTM & Husaberg so if you havent done it already, get to your local dealer and get it taken care of. There is no charge to the customer! :cheers:
