I had a fail shift riding in heavy sand the other day and found this on my drain plug.
i was shifting from 4 to 5th i think and it did not catch the gear engine reved up and wam slamed back into 4
This is an 1/4 inch 8mm socket beside them. could they have come from the fail shift.

I don't like Miss shift she has ruined my day before :D

I bet they come from the rounded dogs that protrude from the slider gear responsible for engaging into the 4th gear idler

tis but a scratch! come back and fight
 
thanks. that were my thougt also

this is my second miss shift in the life of this bike. had sum suckie oil in it
the gear box did not feel smooth with it i was Maxima Maxum 4 15w50 its going in the bin
