don't recognize it, but it would be nice to know what year/ model. also, what was apart when it appeared. a ruler next to it would be better since i'm not familiar with the size of whatever country's coin that is.

its from a 2002 fc 470 i had just took the rocker cover off when i found it, as for size its about 10mm across

it's out of the end of your clutch pushrod hole in the clutch pressure plate.

how has the clutch engagement felt?

I also have loads of new and used gearbox parts so give me a call or email me.

regards

Taffy

thanks for the reply..
I did take the clutch slave cylinder off to remove the engine from the bike... im guessing this goes between the slave cylinder and the pushrod?

no, read my lips....in the pressure plate end. try and feed it in at the right and get it too the left end ok?

Taffy

I'm guessin' the wheel on the end of the spring loaded doo-hickey that rolls around the gear selector star.
Just as a matter of interest - what's the gearbox trouble?

Coastie

the orignal problem was that the bike wouldnt engage 3rd gear it has now been stripped, the original problem was a selector fork but that has took the dogs off 2 of the gears

this reminds me of 2002. me versus JD.

i have to pretend to be calm otherwise i sound slightly mad. if I let go: i sound demented.

calm.....calm.....calm.

regards

Taffy
