My rocker arm shaft had to be replaced so Im replacing it with the ones from a KTM 500 2012. The reason is that they have a machined flat line along the shaft so more oil can flow for lubrication. Same price, same dimensions but a bit better due to this.
Just a small tip.

The new KTM shaft to the left.

Nice, will keep this option/upgrade in mind when I do a valve clearance check.

Guys, just an update for the record...these 78036056200 shafts are listed for the 2012 FE’s as well.

Strange as in that case they could be listed for 09-12... Why only 12?

Yeah I don’t know why it’s listed for the ‘12 and not the others. The early Bergs and KTM’s part number is now superseded to those new shafts.

I assume it wasn’t updated for earlier models due to neglect and Husaberg being a low priority.

The original shafts in the XC4 engines didn’t supply enough oil with some seizing hence these updated shafts. They now list these for the 2008 onwards KTM’s.
