got some messages that the site has been a bit serious lately but not in a dead parrot or fish kind of a way that it used to be, thought id start a offkey eccentric thread for the bored types to get a double start on

anywhoose as were moving on "we've" found a way to make some go fast square wheels that are 30% faster than other wheels as well as being 34% stronger, 15% puncture proof and they last longer as well .. they've got bolts in them you see.

any requests for custom shapes and go fast suggestions put them here price is good we can do these for 130lbs vat

will add some more pics and videos as time permits

the triangular wheels tend to push and pull out of the ruts where you need 30mm offset tripples and the octagonal ones were just so fast they melted the squat in the swingarm

so we take a paddle tyre and put 4 50mm x 6mm bolts into each paddle

this stops the paddles being ripped off

but it kills the tubes

we tried running them as tubeless and using 8 self tappers each side to hold the bead out but after a few times taking the tyre on and off the bead doesn't seal anymore

so the latest is to put a huge michy mousse tube in there

it takes about 4 hours lots of swearing and lots of beer

pics and vid tomorrow sleep tight :D

with those on your bigbore its likely we'll be seeing trenches appear out of the ground on this side of the planet 8O

I haven't been around Canadian ice racing for a long time, but they used to take a used street bike tire, cut the sidewalls off it, and use the tread portion inside your regular tire as a liner.
This was used so that longer studs (like special sheet metal screws) could be used to keep them from pulling out. Also Traction was improved dramatically because of reduced flex.

interesting huscan

bit like this on the outside?

the hillclimbers use that kind of trick and or big tiptop truck tyre patches or dobs of sikaflex over the inside of the bolts to protect the tube

my brother had no problems with this kind of setup on a 3.5 inch wide rim since the bolts are away from the sidewalls but on my narrower rims the tube gets pinched between the bolts and the sidewalls

ive tried the sikaflex and an UHD bridgestone tube it (tube) was 4kgs 8O 8O my mate gave me huge heavy duty truck tyre patches 6mm thick I used 2 on top of each other and csk bolt heads .. still got pinch punctures

the way the bike feels with a really lightweight tyre is very addictive and my bolted paddle only weighs 4.5kgs 8O

close ups of the bolts, they really do work !!

this tyre has done over 3000km including 6 months on the back of a hayabusa with 160hp

note ample silicone grease spanner.. it stops chafing with the fishnets when you forget to wax

a newer paddle i tried with 2 bolts per paddle close up of the holes .. its still a cheng shin c899 but a newer molding and weighs 5.5kgs with no bolts .. nasty thick rubber.. no feel!

11926178186_f0084fd68c_c.jpg

only 2 bolts in the middle was better for punctures but i still got them and the paddles started to crack off

Well I've seen it all now what's next mate a home built frame ? Back shed head gaskets ? Non rotating rotating thruppit sleeve to contain melted swing arm squat ? Nj 207s in a pre 09 motor ? Get off the crack mate seriously it's not worth it besides when that sucker ejects a paddle you won't need grease or fishnets. And everyone knows dodecahedral tyres go the fastest only of they're painted red.

So is the new moulding 20% lighter and gives you 32.5% more stuff, I think you need to file .047" off your clutch lever to effect the full benefit of more stuff.

Showed the video to some friends. One of them has a very nice 650, the other hates 'Bergs. (He's a Honda guy for some reason.)

The 'Berg guy asked "why did he put the big bore in if he isn't gonna give it proper gas?" I told him it was to not scare the Honda guy.

you say your having problems with bolt heads in the tyre puncturing your inner tube , well im not surprised with them 13mm bolt heads in there 8O 8O .
have you not thought of trying coach bolts they have smooth heads so there should be no chance of pinching your tube

im no good at adding links but if you go on ebay and type in coach bolt theres loads of different ones on there

cheers kris

Hi Kris

yes even tried nice CSK head bolts that protrude even less than coach bolts the problem is the same ... the paddle protrudes so much and also contains the bolts so whatever you use still pinches the tube between the paddle and the sidewall when you strike a rock with the paddle, tried coach bolts and csk heads with 1/2" inch of sickaflex over the top and a 4kg tube .. its still the same problem hence the hex heads surprisingly they make no difference at all.

a 3.5" wide rim doesn't have these problems because the bolts miss the sidewalls completely.

cheers
Bushie

why do i have to put up with these attacks on my backyard motorcycle work .. now you're the tart who's got her monthly and just flinging poo at the drawbridge... im lowering the pottycullis and releasing the wrath of the squat brigades canons

i can't decide now if the site is healthy or not

Well you're lucky it's only poo on your drawbridge, furthermore and notwithstanding your claims of fanciful bolted paddle tyre is not only spurious but completely made up, it's obvious to see that all of your "evidence" is falsified and clearly the photos and videos are photo shop specials. Can you please repost that video with today's newspaper as evidence ?
further furthermore your engineer who has mad a complete mess of those tyres must be a cack handed numpty.

pff, WOT you say - that's the same video with a tractor engine sound dubbed over!! probably a recording of when you were pulling your neighbor's wife out of a ditch

And we've figured out why your videos are so short ... it blows a gasket 61 seconds in !!

  my neighbour pull out my wife oxsana from ditch, she is always with the borat borat and vergine hang like mouth of tired dog.

what bolloks and trollip ...... you do know I have basically written the entire site ? and therefore by rejecting your reality to substitute my own content I deserve to be able to sell whatever I find in the rusty spam tin under the couch for twenty million lbs vat.

Ive just spent all last months overdraft on whiskey and a batch of mmx conrods Spanner designed but ive added 200mm to the length and fitted my own bisalloy little end bushes .... just trying to help .. ive always had a thing for the length of another mans rod. they will be on ebay shortly

the new development for the garden shed is a self cleaning pottycullis with a towel rail to make it easier for for borat and his cack handed foreplay ive left the moat in place as it provides a brill spot for him and oxana to hang out and somewhere to chuck old cams and soforth

these are some squat induction rimlocks we have had made on the CNC in nearby mastyshire, best used with a valve spring
