Hi guys im new.
Took my 09 te 450 for a second ride and the fuel pump stopped and i got 4 long and 1 short blinks.
Put a multimeter on the plug and 12v but nothing will a test light... i assume dead ecu?? Wires carry the load fine, pump is fine.
To get home i put a jump wire into no1 fuse and ran/stopped like it did the first ride.

Best place to get a ecu please :)
Thank you

That was a good question, I have never thought about it..... From googling around it seems like that relay is in the ecu, so maybe you do need a new ecu....?
Anyone to confirm it?

I sure do and thanks again it is in the ecu and im just fitting a external one.
The bike ran on a donation ecu today

I'm not sure I understood everything but, on the connector of the injector, the orange wire to a "permanent" 12 V ( Fuse F1 )

1 ==> to have 12v power on the injector :

==> Press the button started engine
==> The starter turns
==> The engine turns
==> The alternator is rotating and the voltage product
==> The voltage regulator detects the voltage increase, regulates the voltage and closes a contact which activates the main relay (K2) which feeds the secondary circuit (lighting / ECU, ect ...)

2 ==> the ECU opens the mass - when receives the information allow an injection properly

temperature
depression
entered from the air into the engine
top dead center (TDC),
etc.....

so if the 12V does not arrive, possible problem:

- FUSE 1
- main relay ( if off services : no secondary power )
- Voltage Regulator ( if off services : no secondary power )
- orange wire is cut

if the 12v arrives at the connector of the injector, the ECU to a malfunction or does not receive the information needed for the injection

My car wasn’t running trace it a corroded fuse (water had gotten to it. Looked OK to the naked eye) replace it all’s good.

Ok so then the question is where to find one. If it turns out to be expensive you might want to look at vortex or maybe even ignijets instead. The you can tune them as you see fit. Vortex seems relativelly simple to use.

All good mate.
I appreciate all comments from everyone.
I just fitted a external relay to the existing fuse.
The power was going into the ecu.. pin 15 but not coming out when fi is activated pin 14

after reading again

it is the ecu that must send 12v to the pump, your ecu seems defective and you have tested another ecu successfully

if all that is right, I propose to do this

take a cable and on one side you connect it to the 12v orange cable and on the other side, you connect it to the pin 2 of the fuel pump another cable from pin 1 of the fuel pump that you put in the ground

in this way, the pump will start as soon as the motor is rotated

you can send the new cable of the orange cable from the FI indicator and you can easily test it
