FE 501 2002 - Sprocket/Chain/Chain Guide

Hi,
to complete rear wheel refurbishing I renewed sprockets, chain and chain guide as well. Maybe this is helpful for someone...

Since the old chain guide is somehow pretty worn I decided to order a new one (pics below). Same with the sprockets. I opted for the original ratio I ordered a 15/48 sprocket set and MX chain D.I.D 520 with 120 links. Parts with KTM part no. in brackets:
  • Chain Guide '94, plastic (54607066100): 12,08
  • Chain Guide Retaining Plate '94, aluminum (50207070044): 21,24
  • Circlip for front sprocket DIN0471-25x1,2 (0471250120): 0,48
  • Front Sprocket by JT Sprockets, JTF823.15, steel, 15 teeth: 17,90
  • Rear Sprocket by JT Sprockets, JTR897.48, steel, 48 teeth: 28,90
  • D.I.D 520 MX chain with 120 links: 83,90

For enduro or trailriding purposes any O-/X-ring chain will last longer than the MX-chain since the chain lubrication lasts longer between the sealing rings (the MX has no rings).

To make the chain fit, I needed to remove 4 links (I did not exactly know what length suits best since I used a different sprocket set before). So 116 chain links should be sufficient for 15/48.

I was a little disappointed with the circlips for the front sprocket - I ordered 4 and all of the look different (different bend, open, etc.) ... standard items should somehow look identical I thought
