2004 Husaberg fe650e compatible KTM enduro rims

Looking for a pair of enduro/off road rims (KTM) that will bolt straight on to my 2004 Husaberg Fe650e (currently set up for supermoto).

found a pair of 2012 KTM ECE-F tires and wheels, will they fit?

Thank you for the quick reply JohnF3, I am struggling to get axle size confirmed...

2004 Fe650e front and rear axel size? I saw some posts on here saying 20mm rear/26mm front...correct? I pick the bike up in a few weeks but want to get a pair of enduro wheels secured before then, the current owner is not willing to dismantle to confirm.

The options I have found locally for enduro rims/tires

2012 EXC-F 350 six days KTM rims, thank you for confirming they will fit, however the owner is telling me they are 25mm rear and 28 front?? maybe a miss measurement....;(

Also found a better deal on 2010 Husqvarna TE310 rims and tires...I am going to have to trust the knowledge on this website...with these fit my 2004 Fe650e?

cheers
Joe

If the KTM is definitely a standard 2012 EXC-F, those wheels will definitely fit - 20mm rear spindle and 26mm front spindle. Those sizes remained the same for all KTM EXC/SX models up to 2014 (possibly 2013 for SX models). Rear tyre will be on the wrong way round for your bike!
I'm pretty sure (but not 100%) that the Husky wheels won't be a straight fit. I think KTM took over the brand in 13 and Husky used their own hubs/spindles/bearings etc. until then. Maybe someone else can confirm that? Have a look at 2010 model Husky wheels on ebay - I think they're different, but can probably be made to fit....

ok, I ll stick to shopping for KTMs, regarding the rear tire and my bike being a right hand drive and the KTM being a left...regarding the rim/bearings/etc. does direction matter? If it is only tire direction I can just mount the tire 180 degrees correct? (the ktm rims have tires mounted).

Yeah - just remove the tyre and remount it the other way round, everything else is ok as is. Some tyres may be bi-directional, in which case you wouldn't even need to do that!
Thanks from Joe Willy
