I Ride:
oil consumption

FE-501 2001, It appears as though my oil is venting up into the frame and then consequently, down into the carb. I may have over-serviced the oil the first time out this year, so maybe I hurt something. Is there a stuck PCV valve or obvious problem I'm overlooking? Thanks for the help.

This is a normal phenomenon. Don't overfill the crankcase and if the oil mist bothers you too much you can do a breather mod.

Breather mod using 5/8 inch heater hose, high speed one way check valve and NAPA Auto Parts heater hose block off to close the frame opening.
