Clutch fade 2010 fx450

Hi all, 3 rides ago my clutch faded, to fix it I laid down on the right hand side then pumped the clutch level a few times and it was good to go again.

2 rides ago I checked the fluid level and it was low so I replaced the slave cylinder seal (no evidence of a leaking from the master) and bled the system, all looked good, I could even change to neutral whilst stationary with the motor running.

On the last ride the clutch was fine until we hit the real tight singles that was 10 kms long (we were also clearing an old trail of fallen logs etc..) it was a warm day 28 deg Celsius, every time the bike heated right up the clutch faded and needed a few pumps to get it working again. After a few minutes on fire trails when the bike cooled a bit the clutch was perfect again?

I don't understand and appreciate any guidance.
Thanks in and advance?

Master cylinder rebuild? Did you bleed the system from the slave cylinder or by the master cylinder?

a possible solution for you. http://husaberg.org/images/smilies/eek.png

The slave cylinder seal is a O ring
An O ring always leak
I replaced the O ring for X ring Viton
I've already 4 years had no loss of oil
You can order these rings at Eriks

ERIKS X-ring FKM 75 zwart 51414 23,52x1,78 AS568-021

Bleed it from the master, if you fill it and wait the fluid starts to run very quickly, then start the pump, open nut, and repeat.

The clutch is so good when cold, neutral with motor running.

The x ring sounds great but where to buy them?

You need to bleed it from the slave cylinder. I bet that there is still air in the line that starts to make its way to the slave cylinder and then it starts fading. Look up reverse bleeding and do that before ordering any parts.
