Sorry to hijack but it's same topic. Anyone done repairs to the actual frame? My side stand seems to have a bit of side to side play in it. Thinking some chunky box section or angle iron welded into place would do The job?

get yourself the 2004 pivot bolt. it is fatter. drill out the hole and use that instead. that tightens things up. put a photo up of the condition of the frame and that will give me a better idea of how far 'gone' it is?

Think it just needs a bit of straightening. Easy enough to remove and replace though.

You asked for pictures so I've posted them?

Are you referring to the engine build or the suspension?

The engine build I've already told you I'm more than capable of building an engine, so I'm not going to pay anyone 300 for labour charges. I can also source bearings reasonably cheaply so again I'm not going pay you more for the same stuff.

With regards to the forks I haven't decided what to do with them, But as your customer relations is on such top form I doubt I'll be sending them to you.

Seems to me we get the grumpy arse more often than the decent guy. Sure he's in there somewhere just waiting to get out
