I Ride:
husaberg 650 steering head dissasembly

hello !

i am about to send my frame to powdercoating so the bike are in pices. but i get the steering head of the bike? do the front shocks need to come of ? am i dooing it allt wrong ? first time

I do. Take off front wheel. Unbolt front caliper mount bolts. Remove fork tubes from triples by loosening all pinch bolts. Undo top nut on the middle of the top triple clamp. Remove top triple clamp. Undo collar under the top triple that holds the stem and bottom clamp in. bottom clamp and stem should drop out (might need a tap with a mallot). Easy peasy. You could also find a video on youtube I'm sure. Have fun.
