Re: husaberg fs 570 "project"

thanx
Today I ordered a "fan" kit for the husaberg using a ktm voucher -50 (same part/part nr as hsb fan kit)
When I'm riding offroad (slow) the bike gets slightly to hot sometimes

Re: husaberg fs 570 "project"

The bike will stay in this "mud mode" for a while now after this I will need a new chain/sprockets because the chain realy had its best time now (O rings stretched) the gearing (13/41) is still way to long for slow offroad stuff but can't fit a big enough rear sprocket so I will do it thus way
Gonna make some pics next time I go playing
Not riding it much this time of the year only one 2-3hour ride every few weeks so the chain still has to last a few moths

Re: husaberg fs 570 "project"

Still no news from fmf its been over 40 days now
My bike doesn't work anyway it's been with the dealer for 1 week now no news yet...
Maybe dirt in fuel lines from tank or something it always starts (cold) and once it gets some temp the bike stalls and doesnt want to start till you let it cool down again...

Re: husaberg fs 570 "project"

I have my berg back and running there was dirt in the fuel lines/fuel pump/injector... all cleaned and ready to go but it's not in great shape the bars are bend pretty bad (was to tired last time I'v ride it to notice )
The chain needs replacing soon.
So I will have to order some new things again soon the fmf header will arrive in approx 2-3 weeks according to my dealer
I'm thinking about taking a chain another+2 links compared to my previous to fit 43t rear sprocket and switch between 14-15 on the front I think I will need 122 links but not sure have to check before ordering I think stock is 118 and now running 120links with 41 rear sprocket

Re: husaberg fs 570 "project"

My 2011 FE570 runs 112 links for 14x42, and 114 links for 14x45(long, almost fully back on swingarm adjustment). I just bought the 114, so those are both actual numbers.

Have you counted your links? Just count the plates and double the number =links.

Also, your bike should be able to fit a big sprocket in the rear if you wish. Look at the rear chain guard, and notice the rear aluminum 'nut' has 2 orientations. You flip that piece for running small or large sprockets. In the small mode, it is good for 42 or 43, but definitely not as big as 44. Once you flip it, it fits 52+ as needed.
